Current Status of Development of Localized Scour Monitoring Technology for Offshore Fixed Photovoltaic Pile Foundation

      • With the rapid development of photovoltaic technology, the construction of offshore photovoltaic field is becoming more prevalent. However, the complex offshore environment, especially the scour problem of group pile foundations, represents a significant challenge to the stability and safety of the offshore photovoltaic field. Effective monitoring technology is therefore essential to ensure the safe operation of the offshore photovoltaic field. This paper presents an analysis of the current status of scour monitoring technology, synthesizing the findings of recent research in this field. It also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of existing scour monitoring technologies, including sonar technology, fiber bragg grating sensors, conductivity detection method, and magnetic measurement technology. Subsequently, the current status of the development of marine pile foundation scour monitoring technology is discussed in further detail, and suggestions are made for the scour monitoring of offshore fixed photovoltaic pile foundations, with a view to providing an effective solution to the scour problem of offshore photovoltaic field group pile foundations.
