Abstract
The ‘14th Five-Year Plan’ has provided robust policy support for the integrated development of offshore wind power and marine ranching and such an integrated development is a marine economic model with broad prospects and enormous potential. However, the integrated development of offshore wind power and marine ranching in the urban cluster of the Beibu Gulf is still in an exploratory stage, especially in the coastal area of Guangxi such integrated development is relatively backward. In this article, the concept of the integrated development of offshore wind power and marine ranching and its current status and development models at home and abroad are summarized. And in order to provide scientific guidance and reference basis for intensive development and utilization of marine resources in the Beibu Gulf, the integrated construction of offshore wind power and marine ranching in the Beibu Gulf is expected based on the characteristics of marine resources and environments in the Beibu Gulf region and the necessity and feasibility of the integrated construction are explained.
