      Comprehensive Evaluation of the Wharf Structural Health Monitoring System Based on ANP-MEEA

      • The wharf is a basic component of the marine infrastructure. With the increasing of old wharves, the requirements of health monitoring of the wharf operation and maintenance stage have been higher. In order to monitoring real-time the wharfl Operation and Maintenance(O&M), emerging technologies such as the Building Information Modeling (BIM), the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Artificial Intelligence (AI) are integrated and a BIM-based Wharf Structural Health Monitoring (BIM-WSHM) System has been developed in the ports of various regions in China. The accurate evaluation of the monitoring systems is favourable for exploring the rationality of these systems and for feedbacking correctly the potential issues as well. The factors for evaluating the BIM-based Wharf Structural Health Monitoring (BIM-WSHM) System are sumarrized and analyzed, an evaluation system for this system is built up and furthermore an evaluation model is established based on the Analytic Network Process (ANP) and the Matter-Element Extension Analysis (MEEA). The feasibility of this model has been verified through an engineering example. This study provides a scientific method of combining quantitative and qualitative methods for the evaluation of the BIM-based Wharf Structural Health Monitoring (BIM-WSHM) System, thus promoting effectively the digital intelligence development of the wharf Operation and Maintenance.
