Abstract: Beach restoration is the core content of sandy coastal restoration projects, and it is also a landmark project type for building beautiful bays and a beautiful China. Aimed to technical requirements for supervision of sandy coastal beach restoration projects. This paper discussed main content, technical processes, and technical points of supervision work for sandy coastal beach restoration projects based on analysis of structural composition of sandy coastal beach restoration projects. The beach restoration project in the Dolphin Bay in Guishan Island in Zhuhai was taken as a study case, this paper proposed supervision of sand coastal beach restoration project include supervision of beach sand replenishment project and supervision of protective embankment project. The main technical indicators for supervision of beach sand replenishment project include sand replenishment quantity, beach shoulder elevation, beach shoulder width, tidal beach slope, sand replenishment particle size, and sand replenishment environmental quality. The main technical indicators for supervision of protective embankment project include dam length, dam top elevation, dam position and direction, dam width, dam wave resistance strength, etc. The on-site supervision of above technical indicators for beach restoration projects has ensured the quality and quantity for beach restoration project construction in the Dolphin Bay, it also provided technical references for supervision of sandy coastal beach restoration projects in China.
